Can this brush be used on bottles from other brands?
Hegen describes it as suitable for both wide- and standard-neck bottles and containers. Check that the brush reaches comfortably without forcing it into a narrow opening.
Which part should I use to clean the teat?
Use the removable soft TPE tip for the teat and hard-to-reach small areas. Handle the teat gently, especially around the opening and air vent, so cleaning does not damage it.
Are the bristles suitable for the PPSU bottle body?
The brush uses soft nylon bristles designed to be gentle on bottle materials. Hegen discourages wired bottle brushes and abrasive cleaners because they can scratch the surface.
Can I sterilise the brush itself?
The product is specified for steam and UV sterilisation. Follow the brush’s instructions and the steriliser’s cycle.
Do I still need a separate straw brush?
