What is included with the SoftSqround Double Electric Breast Pump?
The set includes the electric device; two pump bodies; two 22mm flanges; two SoftSqround eCap/eDiaphragm assemblies; a manual handle and diaphragm; two valves; a kneading ring with its eCap/eDiaphragm; two tubes; a power adapter; and two 150ml PPSU storage containers.
Can I use it as a single pump as well as a double pump?
Yes. The SoftSqround system supports single and double expression. Assemble the pump and configure the tubing connections for your chosen mode as shown in the manual.
What does “36 expression combinations” mean?
The pump combines 12 expression levels with three rhythms. Choose a comfortable rhythm and level, following the pump instructions.
Which flange size is included, and can I change it?
The set comes with two 22mm SoftSqround flanges. Different sizes are sold separately. Choose the fit around the nipple tunnel, with help from a qualified feeding professional if pumping is uncomfortable.
Can this electric pump convert to manual use?
Yes. The manual handle and manual diaphragm let you change the compatible pump body to hand-operated use. Follow the SoftSqround assembly instructions for the two manual components.
Can I pump and store milk in the same Hegen bottle?
Yes. Express into the compatible Hegen body and replace the pump assembly with the storage lid. Later, a suitable feeding head can take the place of the lid, avoiding an extra milk transfer.
What should be washed, and what should stay dry?
Wash the milk-contact pump parts separately after use. Keep the electrical device out of water and do not sterilise it. Hegen’s care guidance says the tubes are not normally washed because they do not contact milk; follow the exact manual if contamination occurs.
