Where can I use the Replacement Seal 4-pack?
These seals are listed for Hegen breast-pump funnels, storage lids, spouts and adapters. Check that the part you are repairing uses this square-round seal; it is not a substitute for a teat, pump diaphragm or straw.
Why does a storage lid need a seal?
An evenly seated silicone seal helps create a secure closure between the top and bottle body. Check that it is clean, correctly fitted and in good condition before use.
How do I fit a replacement seal to a storage lid?
Remove the old seal and clean the groove. Fit the replacement evenly around the lid and check all four sides are seated before closing it onto the body.
How often should I replace these silicone seals?
Hegen recommends replacement every three months or at the first signs of wear. Inspect for stretching, tears or a fit that no longer sits evenly.
Should I take the seal out when cleaning?
Yes. Remove it so you can clean both the seal and the groove beneath it, then rinse and dry before reassembly.
