What does the Straw Brush 2-pack include?
Two Hegen straw brushes. Replacement straws and a cup are separate products.
Why use a straw brush as well as a bottle brush?
A bottle brush cleans the body of the cup; a straw brush reaches the narrow internal channel where drink residue can collect. The two brushes serve different areas.
Can it clean both sections of a Hegen straw?
The brush is designed for the interior surface of the Hegen straw. Separate the upper and lower sections so their openings and inner channels can be reached.
Should I leave the straw attached while brushing it?
Remove the straw sections from the spout first. That gives access to their ends and allows you to rinse loosened residue out of the full channel.
How do I dry the straw brush after washing?
Rinse the brush after use and hang it by the handle so it can air-dry. Avoid storing it wet inside a closed cup or case.
How do cleaning and sterilising fit together?
Use the brush to clean the straw’s internal channel, then rinse. Sterilise the cup parts separately using the method specified in their instructions.
