Purpose in every detail
Thoughtfully designed, down to the details
Introducing half a dozen miniature 60ml/2oz air-tight breast milk storage containers perfect for baby’s first few weeks (0-4 weeks) of feeding and breast milk storage. As you regulate your milk production and baby gets used to latching and feeding from a bottle, use these containers to maximise your fridge storage and feeding space.
Simply attach the Manual Breast Pump Module to express into the storage container, then swap the pump with a Breast Milk Storage Lid, instantly converting it into an air-tight and secured storage container for storage in the chiller or a storage bag.
To feed, simply reheat to desired temperature and change the lid to a Feeding Teat and Collar for convenience and zero transfer of milk. Everything happens within a single container, minimising wastage and making every drop count.
Hegen’s breast milk storage containers go beyond a single function and continually evolve with you and your child’s needs.
Good to know
Your questions, answered
What is included in the 60ml storage pack?
6 60ml/2oz PPSU storage containers, with matching storage lids and seals. Feeding teats, collars and pump attachments are separate.
Why choose 60ml containers for breast milk storage?
This format suits small early milk portions and later purées. Choose the capacity that helps you organise portions for your expressing and feeding routine.
Can I pump straight into the 60ml container?
Yes, using a compatible Hegen pump module or an appropriate Hegen adapter for your other pump. Replace the pump connection with the storage lid and seal when expression is complete. Check the exact pump model before choosing an adapter.
Can the 60ml storage container be used as a feeding bottle?
Yes. Swap the storage lid for a Hegen collar, suitable teat and transparent cover, sold separately. You can change the top without pouring the milk into another bottle.
How do I secure the lid on the 60ml container?
Seat the silicone seal evenly in the lid groove on all four sides. Press the lid onto the body and turn it gently clockwise to secure. Check that the seal is present and seated evenly before use.
Can these 60ml PPSU containers go in the freezer?
The PPSU body is rated down to −20°C. Use the storage lid and seal, label the milk and leave space for expansion rather than filling to the brim. Follow current milk-storage guidance for times and temperatures; the container’s material rating is not a milk-storage time limit.
How do I wash the 60ml container and storage lid?
Remove the seal and clean the body, lid and seal separately, including their grooves. Use bottle detergent and a soft brush. If using a dishwasher, choose the top rack and avoid sanitary-clean or heat-boost cycles; clean before sterilising.
What can I use the 60ml containers for after milk storage?
The 60ml portion size is useful for small servings of purée or food prep. Keep using the storage lid, and serve food with a suitable spoon when your child is ready for solids.
