The breast milk storage lids also allow the feeding bottles to be easily converted to air-tight and secured storage containers by simply swapping the interchangeable lids. How can I prepare the Basic Starter Kit for feeding from birth?
The kit includes Slow and Medium Flow teats. For feeding from birth, add the separately available Extra Slow teat, marked 0, to either bottle body.
Does the Basic Kit include a pump or a Food Storage Converter?
The Basic Kit contains two feeding bottles and two storage lids. Pump equipment and the Food Storage Converter are available separately; the larger Essentials Starter Kit includes the converter.

The 150ml and 240ml bodies let you choose the capacity that suits the milk you prepare. Their shared opening means the feeding and storage tops can move between them.
How do I clean the bottle parts in the Basic Starter Kit?
Disassemble the feeding heads and remove storage seals. Wash all milk-contact surfaces with bottle detergent and a soft brush before sterilising. Standard feeding-bottle parts may go on the top dishwasher rack without heat-boost cycles. Treat any teether or other accessory according to its own instructions.
How do I choose a warmer for the bottles in this set?
Check your appliance’s opening and height against the bottle you plan to use. Hegen gives approximately 7cm as a bottle-width guide. Follow the appliance and bottle instructions.
What is the advantage of PPSU in the Basic Starter Kit?
The bottle bodies are lightweight PPSU with a naturally amber tint and high heat resistance. Hegen states its PPSU is free of BPA and BPS. Always follow the lower care limit of the top or silicone part when those components are cleaned or sterilised together.
